Don’t tell my highschool teachers, but it turns out there are things in life I can get done ahead of the deadline.
My tea towels are heading to the post box now. Two for the swap, two as thankyous to kind and generous people, and one has already gone home with the frog.
And all the seconds will stay here with me.

I am doing my final touches- in the machine now then to be dried and ironed and sent off- hopefully today, if not Monday. Hooray- and well done you!

Jealous, jealous but then I have to remember that I’ve tried two things, neither the successes I was hoping for. I know what I’ll be doing on sunday.

I’m just glad I got them done before my new job started. Otherwise they probably wouldn’t have been done for another couple of weeks.

I felt similarly virtuous at sending mine off early too, now am desperately waiting for affirmation from the recipients, not that I’m insecure about my crafting abilities or anything.
I hope you’re doing a reveal (of your handiwork) here soon….

I will do a reveal, promise, next week. I want to give the recipients a chance to open them and get a surprise. While I did finish early, in an unprecedented moment of girly-swottiness, I only posted them today because of reasons.
I am just hoping my prints don’t come off in the first wash. The fact that I followed instructions on the bottle of paint has done nothing to allay my fears.
